Wendy Williams was placed in the memory care department of her assisted living facility, but it was not due to her dementia diagnosis – it was due to her reportedly being alcohol-drinked and at the facility The restaurant drunk incident. A Member of the facility has been interacting with Williams since arriving eight months ago, telling TMZ that she was initially placed on the third floor where residents had more freedom to come and go. However, things changed after she visited the building’s restaurants and bars for lunch. According to sources, Williams spent a lot of time drinking in the restaurant and eventually became intoxicated. When the supervisor discovered it, they reportedly were angry at the staff providing her alcohol. Shortly after the incident, they decided to move Williams to the memory care unit on the fifth floor, where she would restrict access to the rest of the building, including the restaurant. Williams remained on the third floor under strict supervision while the facility waited for a space to open. Staff were stationed outside her room to prevent her from entering the restaurant. Staff allegedly told Williams that the restaurant was “under construction” to stop her from trying to go back. A few days later, a room in the memory unit was available and Williams was moved away. As seen in the recent TMZ documentary, where is Wendy Williams? She said she had only two dental appointments in 30 days. “Wendy hasn't had a good day. “She's always the same,” the source said, adding, “You can tell her something today, and in two weeks she'll remember it.” Her memory is very good.
