Although Ben Shapiro and Elon Musk supported Derek Chauvin's pardon, Donald Trump did not consider it. “No, I haven't even heard of it.” Trump said when asked about the push from his allies. “I haven't heard of it yet.” Shapiro, the founder of the Daily Telegraph, recently launched an online petition urging Trump Pardon Chauvin, who was sentenced to a state of 22 and a half for violating Floyd's civil rights and sentenced to 22 years on federal charges. Musk quickly supported the idea, posting “Things to consider.” Shapiro argued that Chauvin did not accept a fair trial due to widespread attention, including public remarks by former President Joe Biden. He noted that despite state and federal convictions, Floyd's established heart disease certainly showed that (chauvin) was not guilty,” despite state and federal convictions. The man died on May 25, 2020, sparking international black life protests after Chauvin knelt on his neck for more than nine minutes.
