Thousands of Benadryl bottles have been recalled due to risk of child poisoning

Arsell recalled about 2,300 bottles of Benadryl liquid elixir because the packaging cannot meet child-tolerant safety standards, posing a potential risk of poisoning for children. Comply with the Consumer Product Safety Committee (CPSC), the anti-diglycerolamine containing diphenylamine in a 100 ml bottle contains diphenylamine, anti-antigenide composition poison, the anti-depressant is not packed much, and the poison is not packed much. Although the medication itself is not flawed, the lack of proper safe packaging may make it easier for children to consume, resulting in serious health risks. The recalled product was packaged in a round dark plastic bottle with a white label with a “benadryl” with blue text. The white label at the bottom of the bottle shows the recall code X003Vrigul. Affected bottles are for sale on Amazon.com between July 2023 and October 2024. Consumers who purchase this product should keep it away from children and dispose of it immediately. To request a refund, the buyer must display their Amazon order number and photo to the photo (protected via email). CPSC emphasizes that recalls are aimed at bottle packaging, not the drug itself.
