Social media influencer Corey Pritchett Jr. turns himself in for aggravated kidnapping

Houston-based social media influencer Corey Pritchett Jr. recently turned himself in at the Harris County Jail on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping. The 26-year-old is currently facing two charges stemming from an incident on November 22 in which he allegedly threatened to harm and kill two women before abandoning them in a remote area. The victim reportedly met Pritchett Houston at a gym in Southwest. After Pritchett allegedly offered to give them a ride home, he drove the two women in the opposite direction, traveling along Interstate 10 at speeds of 100 miles per hour. Court documents detail the incident and reveal that when one of the women tried to walk them home, Pritchett pulled out a gun. A text message on her phone. To make matters worse, Pritchett allegedly claimed on the phone that he had a “perfect opportunity” to take the ladies to a secluded location where they wouldn't be found. The situation escalated when Pritchett pulled into a restaurant in Sealey and reportedly asked the women to get out of the car, saying it was their “last chance.” The women told authorities they were stranded in an unknown area, and investigators were able to verify their claims through cell phone records and screenshots from the Life360 app. Pritchett was arrested shortly after allegedly fleeing the country on the charges. Court documents show that Pritchett announced on social media that he was leaving the United States and moving to Dubai to start a new life. It was later confirmed that Pritchett had traveled to Doha, Qatar, on a one-way ticket. Nonetheless, the 26-year-old is currently in jail with bail set at $200,000, and if released, Pritchett will be required to give up his passport and remain in the greater Houston area.
