Seven Chilean nationals are accused of being linked to a series of high-profile thefts targeting professional athletes, including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Federal authorities said the group tracked the players’ schedules and broke into their homes while they went to the game, stealing more than $2 million in valuables. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Central Florida developed a criminal lawsuit Tuesday, February 18. Charging for Sergio Ortega Cabello, Bastian Jimenez Freraut, Pablo Zuniga Alexander Huiaguil Chavez, Bastian O Bastian Orellano Morales, Jordan Quiroga Sanchez and Ignacio Zuniga Cartes conspired to conduct interstate transport of property theft. According to investigators, the suspects targeted high-profile NFL and NBA players, monitoring the game schedule to ensure their homes are empty.
