Another alumnus who “made a band” found themselves in a legal dilemma. Dylan Dilinjah, a former star in Diddy's “Make The Band 2” series, was detained in North Carolina for allegedly assaulting a man. According to a newly surfaced arrest warrant, Dillingja allegedly slapped Joseph Gallolo twice in a dispute in Wake County. Police arrived shortly afterwards and arrested the rapper, accusing him of assault. Dilinjah was released on a $500 margin and plans to appear in court on July 1. The incident happened after Dilinjah’s name resurfaced in the media last year when he discussed the impact of the “Chappelle show” that mocked him and his team. In a conversation with the “We Are Flatbush” podcast, Dilinjah shared the destructiveness of the joke to his career. He recalled the difficulties of getting people to work with him later: “Whenever I send the music to the DJ, they say, ‘Oh, that’s the n*** that Dave Chappelle teased. Chopper Young City (also a member of Dilinjah’s DA band) was arrested in 2022 on sex trafficking charges, although he said in an interview that the case has been dropped. Their former boss Diddy reportedly faced decades of jail for alleged sexual trafficking, sexual assault and other charges. Another DA band star, Sara Rivers, was the abuse that sued Diddy.
