Planet Fitness is lending a helping hand to communities affected by devastating fires in the Los Angeles County area. First responders and residents affected by the wildfires will have free access to the gym’s facilities, including showers, locker rooms, WiFi and charging stations. No membership required. Deadly fires that broke out this week have claimed five lives and the death toll is expected to soar. Water supplies were limited in the area, and fire departments were stretched thin by the rapidly spreading blaze. Several firefighters were also injured while fighting the horrific wildfire. Another company offering assistance is Airbnb. The short-term rental platform is providing free temporary housing to people displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires. We encourage anyone in need to visit Airbnb.org. Anyone wishing to visit Planet Fitness to take advantage of its facilities can go to any of the locations listed.
