The album is a tribute to the songwriting of fellow Texas Rodney Crowell, which includes an interpretation of 12 tracks written or co-written by Nelson over the past fifty years. Of course, we like the scenes of Aly and AJ, Lukas Nelson, Charley Crockett, Lucinda Williams and Willie, but the highlight of this year were two surprising performances. First, Jessica Simpson appears, introducing her new country music, which highlights the heartbreak of her marriage ending.
