NBA Youngboy will be released from prison in April, three months ahead of expectations

NBA YoungBoy's prison release has been moved up once again.Originally set for July 27th, 2025, the Federal Bureau of Prisons database now lists his release for April 26, 2025. The rapper had agreed to a plea deal regarding gun possession and involvement in a prescription medicine fraud scheme, which resulted in a 23-month sentence, five years of probation, and a $200,000 fine.The deal was revised to reduce his verdict to include it until May 2024. This week, Birdman’s brother Terrance “Gangsta” Williams claimed Youngboy was in solitary confinement at FCI Talladega after allegedly hitting a Mississippi man who shouted Lilburk’s crew name “OTF”. Despite this incident, Williams noted that YB was “engaging in business” but did not affect his release date. In 2023, Youngboy admitted that his beef with Lil Durk is used for “entertainment”.
