Champions Point, Michael Jordan's legendary Highland Park estate, now offers fans the chance to live like NBA royalty once a week. The 32,000-square-foot mansion was originally custom-built by the basketball icon and has since been transformed into a property that real estate investor John Cooper purchased for $9.5 million last December. For just $1 million, buyers of Michael Jordan's Champions Point mansion in Chicago can get a weeklong timeshare at the sprawling property, which includes nine on-property bedrooms, 19 Bathrooms and amenities tailored for sports enthusiasts. These include a full-size indoor basketball court, fitness center, putting green and tennis courts. The hotel's iconic front door still features Jordan's signature “23,” commemorating his legendary jersey number. Non-sports fans won’t feel left out at Champions Corner, Michael Jordan’s home in Chicago – Champions Corner also features a home theater, in-ground pool, wine cellar and cigar room complete with leather poker table. For an additional fee, the co-owners can host private events, such as weddings or charity galas, with live entertainment and a private chef. “Owning a piece of history and bringing sports fans together,” Cooper said in a statement. The unique timeshare model allows co-owners to help pay annual fees and the shares can be resold. With space for up to 20 guests, the hotel promises a luxurious, community-driven experience that will keep Jordan's legacy alive.
