A man and woman in Memphis are reportedly facing charges of aggravated assault after a tow driver was knocked down during an attempted vehicle retrieval. Videoon On March 26, Memphis Police Department officials responded to an incident on the Cabana Circle, and the trailer driver, who was later identified as the victim, was taken to a local hospital and suffered non-serious injuries. Authorities say the driver is trying to retract the 2011 Ford Fusion when a woman shouts a man “Hurry up” as he is still “hooking the truck in the car.” The suspect then “runs on the victim on the victim.” Brandi Revels, 27, and Nicholas Wray, 34, were arrested and charged with aggravated assaults related to the incident. Video shared on social media shows the suspect entering the vehicle when the trailer driver tried to reclaim it. In the video, the driver retreated while dragging the person behind the head, causing the victim to scream when he knocked it down. The video also caught the woman talking to the driver while trying to move the car. The Memphis Police Department has not confirmed the release of any videotapes, but they did clarify that all information can be found on its Facebook page. The trailer reportedly suffered arm pain and head scratching, which required him to shake to stay awake. Revels and Wray will appear in court on March 31.
