
McDonald's will expand its menu this spring with new chicken options. The company has announced the launch of McCrispy Strips along with a new creamy chili dip, both of which will be available at participating locations in the U.S. The new cream chili dip is a sweet, savory and mild spicy mixture to complement the stripes. “Our goal is to develop a product that matches what customers look for in chicken options,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at McDonald’s. “We took some time, listened to feedback and created something we thought our customers would like.” The strips came with three- and four-piece kits and came with one or two soaked seasonings. In addition to the new cream chili dip, customers can choose from other McDonald’s sauces, including a rich barbecue and spicy buffalo. Cultivating new menu projects involve many regional collaborations at the company, McDonald Piña, McDonald’s Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer said it was consistent with suppliers, Virginia’s Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Officer.
