Louis Vuitton is reviving its iconic collaboration with Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. The collection marks an important milestone for Louis Vuitton, demonstrating its ability to combine timeless craftsmanship with bold creative expression. The 2025 re-edition features more than 200 carefully crafted pieces, including handbags, accessories, footwear and even perfume bottles. Fans of the original collaboration will be delighted by the return of beloved patterns such as Monogram Multicolore, Sakura and Superflat Panda. Each piece features modern technology and classic Louis Vuitton details, making the collection both nostalgic and innovative. Highlights of the collection include the Monogram Multicolore pattern on iconic City bags such as the Dauphine Soft, Speedy 25 and Alma BB. Decorated on a white and black background, the design appears on a range of products including bucket hats, sunglasses, scarves and travel luggage. Murakami’s whimsical, ultra-flat panda graphics add a playful touch to handbags, travel essentials, keychains and even skateboards. Fragrances such as Attrape-Rêves and Imagination have been redesigned with vibrant Superflat Panda and Garden designs, bringing a fresh aesthetic to the brand's fragrance range. Louis Vuitton has also highlighted the creativity of the brand's menswear creative director, Pharrell Williams. For Pharrell's Fall/Winter 2024 show, From Paris to Virginia, Pharrell unveils a luxurious reinterpretation of the Timberland 6-inch boot, combining workwear influences with premium Italian craftsmanship. In the spring and summer of 2025, Pharrell debuted the first sneaker he designed for Louis Vuitton: the LV Footprint Soccer. Inspired by classic cleated sneakers, the sneakers feature a lace-up calfskin upper, a cushioned rubber outsole with Monogram graphics, and bold monochromatic hues of red, forest green and blue. The first chapter of the Louis Vuitton × Murakami replica series will launch on January 3, 2025, with immersive global events and exclusive events available throughout the year. Pharrell's LV Footprint Soccer sneakers will debut in stores on January 2, 2025, and will be available for pre-order on December 26, 2024.
