Kevin Hart hosts the 2025 BET Awards as the show celebrates 25 years of Black Excellence

Kevin Hart was elected to host the 2025 BET Awards, BET announced Tuesday. The show will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 9, ET/PT as the network celebrates the 25th anniversary of its annual awards ceremony. He previously hosted comic scenery in 2008 and co-created and starred in Hollywood's real husband, and is currently involved in BET+'s animation series Lil Kev. “I love the celebration,” Hart said in a statement. “It’s an opportunity to reflect, cherish and honor moments.
