Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker face serious lawsuits from her landlord at the fire steak and seafood restaurant. In a lawsuit filed Monday in Fulton County State Court, Montego also asserted that the Burroughs restaurant still owed $56,495.75 for repairs of $56,495.75, and Montego did not include interest. Tucker opened fire steak and seafood in southwestern Atlanta in 2020. The couple also owned Old Lady Gang, a soul food restaurant that launched in Castleberry Hill in 2017. The Atlanta Daily Constitution reported that Blaze Steak & Seafood received an impressive health score in late 2023, which was based on Georgia Department of Public Health records, and her legal team was also reluctant to respond to the lawsuit publicly. According to the complaint, Montego has given Burrus and the Restaurant 10 days to pay the unpaid balance to avoid further legal consequences.
