Joe Budden faces civil lawsuits from two neighbors who accused the host of the podcast of being naked and trying to get into the home. The couple also alleged that Buden had retaliated against them for complaining to the apartment association, describing the conflict as a “movement of intimidation and retribution.” A key incident cited in the lawsuit occurred in December 2024, when Budden was seen on the exposed camera of Aksoys' doorbell, walking on a nude photo of around 7 AM and pressing buttons on the Keypad. Aksoys claimed he tried to enter their apartment and later downplayed the incident on the podcast. This moment sparked a police investigation and accusation of lewdness against Buden, who was eventually cleared in court. The judge found no evidence of intention to harass or misconduct. This year, Buden talked about the incident after a civil trial, explaining that he was sleepwalking – he said he had been dealing with it for years. He also claimed that the couple had been targeting complaints and racial remarks, calling them “racist couples.” The lawsuit also accused Bouton of mocking the couple in the October 2024 podcast episode, featuring simulated gunfire and sirens, which Axos believes is targeting escalating tensions.
