A viral tweet from X (formerly known as Twitter) revealed that Joseph Budden Jr., also known as Joe Budden, 44, was involved in an unusual incident earlier this month. It caused a stir after he was later charged with indecent assault. According to the statement, police were called to the Edgewater Apartments complex around 7:21 a.m. after a resident reported a disturbing incident. The caller was alerted to the doorbell camera and saw their neighbor, Joe Budden Jr., standing. Naked outside their apartment door. The video allegedly shows Baden repeatedly trying to enter the code on the resident's door keypad before retreating to his apartment across the hall. After an investigation, Baden Jr. was charged with lewdness, a disorderly conduct offense under New Jersey law (2C: 14-4a). Edgewater Police Chief Martin emphasized in a press release: “These charges are merely accusations. ,A defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.” Joe Budden Jr. is scheduled to appear in court on January 16, 2025.
