Jeannie Mai is prioritizing self-love after her divorce from rapper Jeezy. The TV personality recently shared with People magazine that she enjoys her own company and “has been busy dating herself.” Mai said. “I spend a lot of money on myself.” During the holidays, Mai celebrated her newfound independence by traveling with loved ones. She organized an impromptu birthday getaway to Hawaii with friends and took 16 family members to Disney World for Christmas. “I feel like right now, I'm just celebrating all the people I love and the people who love me,” Mai explained. “It feels like I'm dating myself.” Jeezy filed for divorce in September 2023, saying their marriage was “irretrievably broken” with “no hope of reconciliation.” The separation was finalized last summer and included a custody agreement for their two-year-old daughter Monaco. The former couple's relationship began in late 2018 after meeting on the set of “The Real.” Jeezy proposed in March 2020, and the two got married in Atlanta a year later. However, their split was not without controversy as Mai accused Jeezy of infidelity and abuse, which he denied.
