The situation happened in November in one of the safest communities in Ohio, where Jenkins lives. In the video, captured by Jenkins' Ring doorbell camera, Bishop can be seen standing in front of his home screaming, claiming Jenkins doesn't live there. Many social media users noted the racial undertones of her accusation, which shocked viewers. Jenkins later revealed that Bishop also called police during the incident. “As a black man in this country, the last thing you want to see is a run-in with law enforcement,” Jenkins shared in a recent interview. On January 18, Michelle Bishop went live on social media, Tearfully defending his actions. She claimed her intentions had been misunderstood but admitted people had been calling her a racist and demanded a public apology. Despite the backlash, Bishop said she has no plans to publicly apologize. Jenkins said he saw Bishop often during the development, but her behavior that night made the family feel uneasy about living in the community.
