Jazz in the Garden (JITG) 2025 offers two days of memorable music, emotional tributes and outstanding performances, reaffirming its status as one of the premier American music festivals. The event brings together a wide variety of R&B legends, hip-hop icons and reggae royals to celebrate music and legacy. Ms. Lauryn Hill ended her first night with a powerful show showing her lasting influence. Her son, Zion Marley, joined her stage during “To Zion” and began with a classic work from her Grammy-winning album, “The Mised Education of Lauryn Hill.” YG Marley follows up on his popular praise of Jah in the Moonlight and performs an unreleased track, creating a time passed down from generation to generation to honor their family’s musical legacy. Doechii also appeared on Ms. Hill's show, the second edition of Lauryn's classic Hit Doo Wop (that thing), and some of her own tracks. Busta Rhymes also appeared unexpectedly in that match, conveying his signature fast-shooting stream, while rising stars like Samara Cyn, Foggieraw and Mannywellz showcase their unique style, suggesting the future of music. Together they performed classics such as killing me gently, ready or not, creating an unforgettable ending. The racing day was even more difficult, and Coco Jones also took the stage, drawing crowds with her latest single flavor and heartfelt performance from the ICU. Her high-energy suit was followed by a performance by gospel star Tye Tribbett. Xscape brought the eternal R&B Energy on Day 1, performing hits like Kickin'It and You The It, while Latocha Scott sang her husband on stage. The next day, Kem launched a strong collection that emphasized connection and solidarity. He brought the audience into the show and paid tribute to Angie Stone, who passed tragically earlier this month. Beenie turned the festival into a Caribbean ballroom party, marking his return to the American stage with a vibrant performance, including Supprise Guest Mya. DJ Cassidy sets fans out of their seats during a live microphone show. He brought friends Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Ja Rule, Slick Rick and Dougie Fresh to make the crowd sway. Toni Braxton joins the amazing show with her sister Trina. Braxton's heartfelt tribute to Angie Stone, leaving a lasting impression with an emotional rendition of breathing again. The festival ends with a new version, with its performances blending group classics and solos.
