Indiana teacher accused of having sex with divorced students

Brittany Fortinberry, a 31-year-old former teacher at Indiana Distinguished High School, is at the center of a disturbing case of child sexual abuse — and now, her husband has filed for divorce as the scandal continues. Relying on TMZ, Fortinberry's husband Nicholas Fortinberry, Nicholas Fortinberry, filed a lawsuit against the crime after authorities filed a criminal investigation. The couple married in November 2020 and shared a four-year-old child who is seeking temporary custody and temporary possession of a family home. He listed their separation date as February 21, 2025. The allegations against Brittany are disturbing. She allegedly had sex with several underage boys, sent them clear photos and videos and provided them with alcohol and psychedelic mushrooms, according to police documents. One of the minors told police they were forced to wear the grimace mask from the screaming movie during the encounter. Even more disturbing, one victim claimed that Brittany’s husband, Nicholas, knew about the abuse and even threatened to “slaughter” the boy. The parents of another victim told authorities that Nicholas faced their son and told him to “wait until his age.” Brittany Fortinberry faced multiple felony charges, including harassment of children, sexual misconduct with minors, and spreading harmful substances to minors. The abuse allegedly occurred between 2023 and 2024, with some of the victims reportedly aged only 13. Brittany did not regret it in the police interview, but said she regretted losing weight, indicating that she was “weight 150 pounds,” and she would not “experience these problems”.
