The home made famous as Walter White's residence in “Breaking Bad” is now on the market for $4 million. The four-bedroom, one-bath 1,900-square-foot home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is listed for well above its estimated market value of $343,100, according to Zillow. Fans often come here to take photos, but access to the interior has been restricted. Joanne Quintana, who grew up in the home with her siblings, recently got a rare peek inside the KOB 4 camera. Quintana's late parents, Fran Padilla and Louis Padilla, bought the house in 1973. In 2006, a knock on the door changed the history of the house forever. “My mother never opened the door, but she opened the door,” Quintana shared. “They introduced themselves and handed her a card that said, 'We'd like to use your house for a pilot.'” Filming began two weeks later, and the family received a one-time payment for each shoot, but There is nothing left. Cherishing the fond memories of the cast and crew, especially Bryan Cranston. While Fran was often on set baking cookies for everyone, Cranston didn't do so due to his character's battle with cancer — until the last day of filming. “He finally got into it and even took a picture with my mom’s biscotti,” Quintana recalls. The show's success has brought unexpected attention, with up to 300 cars passing by every day, and fans occasionally taking it too far. Quintana recounted an incident when a package addressed to “Walter White” arrived at 4:30 a.m., prompting a bomb squad response. Over time, the family installed fencing and motion sensor cameras to manage the influx of visitors. While Quintana didn't elaborate on the decision to sell, she acknowledged the challenges of balancing her parents' end-of-life care with the continued attention of her fans. “This has been our home for nearly 52 years,” she said. “It's time to move on.
