In a recent Instagram post, ballerina and rapper Flau'jae Johnson is open to many of the derogatory things she hears, seeking to rule the court and establish her own derogatory meaning in hip-hop games. “Too dark. Too small. Not feminine enough. Pretty for a dark-skinned girl. Not focused. Too thin. Not sexually attractive. Be a rapper. Just hoops,” she wrote. These are just some of the labels that Johnson has to endure. But instead of letting them define her, she used them as fuel to break the barriers. Johnson, an outstanding player at LSU and formerly “Talent of America” player, admitted that despite her quiet manner, criticism did affect her. Johnson is the daughter of Southern rapper Camoflauge, who was killed in 2003. As a LSU player, she is currently in her junior year, a potential client of the WNBA. While it’s unclear whether Johnson will enter the 2025 draft, she has signed a zero deal with the unparalleled zero deal. On Valentine's Day, she released the latest EP “Flau & b” after a series of other projects.
