Donald Trump has once again targeted the judicial system, this time in response to a ruling that forced his administration to restore thousands of illegally fired federal workers. In social media posts, he called Justice Breda a “radical left madman” and accused him of being a “inciting agent” appointed by former President Barack Obama. Trump argued that Bredar undermined the will of voters and called on him to impeach each. “This radical left-wing judge… was appointed by Barack Hussein Obama,” Trump wrote. “He didn’t win the referendum, he didn’t win all seven swing states, he didn’t win 2,750 to 525 counties, he didn’t win any victory!” Although many recovered workers were taken to paid administrative leave, other workers were regaining full employment, which raised logistical challenges for institutions that had previously let them leave. If the Court of Appeal reverses the decision, these employees may face termination again, adding another layer of uncertainty. During his tenure, the Trump administration has actively reduced the federal workforce, especially for probation employees with less job protection. The recent ruling marks another legal setback in its policy and strengthens the battle between the government and the judiciary.
