Cali is always my second home, but I think it’s time to try something different.” The case stemmed from a dog attack in December 2020, when Avila, who worked with her sister at Brown’s home, was upset by a dog named “Big Dog.” Avila claims the performer saw the attack unfold but focused on removing the dog rather than helping her. She suffered serious injuries, including permanent disfigurement, and sought $90 million in damages. Brown denied the allegations, claiming Avila stirred up canine teeth. Although Brown's lawyer pointed out his busy travel schedule, the court set a trial date for February 2026.
