Kansas City Chief's lenient catcher Xavier Worthy filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife Tia Jones, accusing her recent claims that led to his arrest earlier this month. The prosecutor later refused to accept the charges and was released soon after. Now Worthy seeks $250,000 to $1 million in damages, claiming that Jones has fabricated the charges. It is reported that Via's private investigator is said to be unfaithful. He claimed that her response was to tear her hair open and destroy his game room, causing $150,000 in damages. The lawsuit further accused Jones of stealing $30,000 in cash, jewelry, a gun, gun and his Rolls Royce's key. He is also seeking a jury trial. CourtRecords shows that both Jones and Worthy have proposed protection orders against each other. The couple has been engaged since July 2024 and recently moved into their first home together. Their relationship once recorded on social media has now become a legal battle that can be held in court for months. Worthy was a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and soon became one of quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ top picks for his rookie season.
