Authorities are looking for a dangerous California man who said they murdered his ex-girlfriend and daughter, who stopped under the red light. Donte Lamont Brown, 41, is accused of fatal shooting of Tameca “La'von” Hall, 45, while his daughter, Ma'laysia Martin, 22, was in Compton on Tuesday, April 1. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LACSD), Hall’s estranged boyfriend Brown is still large and is considered armed and dangerous. The tragic incident happened when Brown allegedly drove toward Hall next to Hall, and Martin stopped under the red lights on Calderwell Street and South Central Avenue. Brown reportedly fired a gun at their vehicle and shot two victims. Hall managed to exit the driver's side but collapsed on the ground, while Martin was found in the passenger seat, both suffering gunshot wounds. LACSD responded at 7:05 p.m., with two victims later pronounced dead by Compton Fire Department. “It's heartbreaking just to come here to meet a mother and daughter. It's very tragic for our community,” said Debbie Shaw, a city councilman, Jonathan Bowers. Neighbor Ronnie also expressed her grief, saying the crime was “really ridiculous” and urged Brown to hand over.
