At least six people were injured Thursday in the shooting at Tallahassee Florida State University, according to Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. One victim is in critical condition, and five other victims are reportedly in serious condition. As authorities continue to investigate, the total number of injuries may change. The incident occurred near the campus student union, prompting the entire university to immediately issue an on-site alarm. Law enforcement officers have confirmed that a suspect is in custody, but the search continues to search for any possible shooters. FSU student Daniella Streety told ABC News that the sirens began to yell, and as the scene unfolded, people outside rushed into nearby buildings for cover. In a statement, Rep. Neal Dunn (R-FLA.) called the early reports “very disturbing” and urged everyone to act quickly in the shelter. According to the White House, President Donald Trump has continued from the investigation to cancel classes next Friday.
