The Queen in the North is Now Under Arrest

Sophie Turner is back on our screens in a tense new thriller for Prime Video called Steal. In an exclusive clip released today, we see her character, Zara, in a high-stakes police interrogation.

The Plot

Zara is an ordinary worker at a pension fund who gets caught up in a robbery of £4 billion. The clip shows her visibly shaken, claiming innocence. But is she a victim, or the mastermind?

Turner plays the "unreliable narrator" perfectly. Her eyes do most of the acting, shifting from fear to calculation in a split second.

A New Direction

Since Game of Thrones ended, Turner has chosen interesting, smaller roles (The Staircase, Joan). Steal looks like her first major action-thriller lead. The show deals with themes of economic inequality and corporate greed—very timely.

"It's about how far a normal person will go when the system fails them," Turner said in a press release.

Release Date

Steal drops all episodes on Prime Video next Friday. It looks like the perfect weekend binge for fans of Money Heist.
