Unbroken Chain: Grahame Lesh Announces West Coast Tribute to Phil and Bobby

Keeping the Chain Intact
Grahame Lesh, son of Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, carries a heavy torch. His band, Grahame Lesh & Friends, has announced a West Coast extension of their tour "Unbroken Chain."
originally conceived as a celebration of Phil Lesh's music, the tour has taken on new poignancy following the recent passing of Bob Weir.
A Double Tribute
The upcoming dates (March 20-22) will now feature a special emphasis on Weir's catalog. "The music of the Dead was a conversation between Phil and Bobby," Grahame said in a statement. "We can't honor one without honoring the other. They are playing together again somewhere, and we're just trying to echo that down here."
The Lineup
Expect a rotating cast of jam scene heavyweights to join Grahame on stage. The "Unbroken Chain" refers to the continuity of the Dead's community—from the 60s Acid Tests to the modern jamband festival circuit.
This tour is a reminder that while the founders may leave us, the family remains.
Tickets are on sale now.
