Anthony Edwards is that guy. The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 116-113 in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Edwards was a man in the second half of the boys and didn't come out for a single match. He ended the game with 43 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. In the second half, when returning to the court, the AE repeatedly pushed LeBron James until he was eventually asked to make a foul. When asked after the game why he did it, his reaction was perfect: “Let him know we’re here…you won’t just push our efforts,” he said in a post-match interview. Edwards has always been the best player in the series, and at the age of 23 he only grabbed the surface of what he could be. James and Luka Doncic tried their best to get the Lakers to win, but they lacked consistency when leading Minnesota State to hang out. ESPN's Stephen A. Smith summed it up Monday morning and pointed out that Anthony Edwards is a shark, a water that is traumatized by blood. His efficiency in Game 4 was particularly impressive, shooting 50% from the field from outside the arc, shooting 52% from the field and 82% from the free throw line. Edwards is incredible and he wants to end the season with LeBron, Don Cic and the Lakers tomorrow night. Let's see if James and Company is ready to fight back in Minnesota after two consecutive losses.
