Former NFL Run Back Adrian Peterson was arrested in Minnesota early Friday and charged with fourth-degree driving, according to online records maintained by Hennepin County sheriff. He was detained at 5:16 a.m. CST and was later released on $4,000 bond at 7:31 a.m. CST. The charge is a misdemeanor. Peterson's next scheduled court date is scheduled for May 9 in Minneapolis. The preliminary exhalation test had a blood alcohol content of 0.14%, and the Minnesota legal limit was 0.08%. The incident has added to a range of legal troubles Peterson faced over the years, including previous allegations of domestic violence, child abuse and financial issues.
