Police say the disappearance of a Florida teenager ended in horror after learning she was lured, captured, tortured and eventually dismembered by an older man on social media. According to investigators, she went to his St. Petersburg duplex the next day and never returned. They then brutally beat her and “suspended the victim against her will for more than seven days,” according to the police affidavit. Abuse escalates into a horrible death. The affidavit details how the couple “tucked a billiard ball into her mouth and wrapped her face in plastic wrap, causing her to suffocate. Her body was then transported to another location in Lago, dismembered and thrown in the trash. “The detective found the trash and was working to find the body. “Gress, who has been jailed on irrelevant charges, including possession of drugs, allegedly pointed to Harpoon in Brandes, is now facing first-degree murder. Brandes, who initially evaded authorities, handed over on Saturday and was also detained.
