Following Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg's performance at Donald Trump's Crypto Ball last night, fans had a lot of opinions, most of them not good. Both rappers were spotted at the first annual Crypto Ball in Washington, D.C., where they shared the stage with Soulja Boy. Rozai said the show was just a “private” event for him and Snoop. Soulja also said that he was only in Washington trying to “remove the TikTok ban.” However, multiple media outlets have confirmed that the concert was indeed a Trump dance. As expected, long-time supporters of both artists dragged them online, especially the West Coast star. During Trump's first term, he criticized artists who performed at his inauguration. Many netizens questioned whether Snoop, Rick Ross, Solja, and even Nellie, who will also be performing at the inauguration, would get the same deal as Kristine Rice, whose career derailed after performing at Trump's first inauguration. Sher the same public treatment. I know I didn't just see Rick Ross performing at a crypto dance party! After all the bullshit he said — iFadeMyself (@1Jowavy) January 18, 2025 Y’all gave Christ Michelle hell for her performance at Trump’s first inauguration; me Would love to see the same energy from Snoop Dogg, Nelly and Rick Ross. pic.twitter.com/fjLZGgwail — BEANZ Gamer Dad (beanzgotgamez.bsky.social) (@BeanzGotGamez) January 18, 2025 Watch clips of Snoop, Nelly, Rick Ross and Soulja Boy performing at Trump’s inauguration, like pic.twitter.com/mb6BYGQAhm — Red Rolls, White Ceiling (@JTriplet0825) January 18, 2025 Snoop Dogg to DJ at Trump Inauguration? ? ? 2025 is off to a wild start! 🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/VhrPMLCX6j — Van (@vanman_1000) January 18, 2025 Chrisette Michele has yet to recover from her performance at Trump’s 2017 inauguration. Snoop, Nelly, Soulja Boy and Rick Ross will be fine, though. The “cancel” cultural goalposts move depending on your cultural equity and who you associate with. — kevikev (@KevCoke6) January 18, 2025 All I know is that Chrisette Michele doesn’t deserve to be dragged around like she and other rappers haven’t gotten the same energy. — BLH (@_RareDefined) January 18, 2025 These rappers don’t get the same energy. Like Crystal Michelle, we all know that men are more likely than women to make unprincipled decisions for the sake of money, and over the past four years, surrender to government has become popular in politics, so — The Emotionally Intelligent Dad 🇯🇲🌹 🇦🇮 (@julianakilrose) January 18, 2025 As the controversial Republican president-elect prepares to take office, it will be interesting to see which other rappers come out in support of Trump.
