Lil Baby denies discriminating against Gunna in new album 'Rat' lyrics

After fans speculated that lyrics on Lil Baby's WHAM deluxe single “Runnin' This Shit” were directed at Gunna, Lil Baby has clarified the lyrics. In an interview with Complex, Baby denied taking a shot at his former collaborator, although many listeners believed the drama stemmed from a line in Baby's rap: “I don't care what he did, he's still a rat/I said I said, don’t say that to me.” Since Gunna pleaded guilty in the YSL RICO case in late 2022, fans were quick to assume the bar was targeting him.
