Several of America's richest businessmen will attend Donald Trump's inauguration and even sit next to each other. An event planner confirmed that billionaires Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg will serve in key roles at the ceremony, along with Cabinet nominees and elected officials. According to Bloomberg, these technology industry leaders have a combined wealth of more than $885 billion, making them highly influential as Trump enters the next four years. Musk is a key figure on Trump's new DOGE advisory board and has stood by Trump since backing the convicted felon. In July, he donated more than $250 million to his campaign. Zuckerberg adjusted his lobbying strategy and content policy while donating $1 million to the inaugural fund. Bezos, who owns The Washington Post, has chosen neutrality during the presidential campaign, vetoing staffers who supported Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. Amazon, Bezos' retail masterpiece, also contributed $1 million. Despite past rivalries between Bezos, Musk and Zuckerberg, Trump's second term in the White House has brought new opportunities for everyone. Meta faces antitrust scrutiny while Amazon and SpaceX deal with federal contracts critical to their operations. Continuing to curry favor with Trump could help ease their respective business woes.
