Teedra Moses has been embroiled in controversy recently for publicly praising R. Kelly despite his conviction for child sex crimes. This happened after Moses joined the “R&B Money” podcast. During the visit, while speaking with hosts Tank and J. Valentine, Moses ranked Kelly's 2000 “The Greatest Sex” as one of the five best R&B songs of all time. “You can close your eyes and see everything he says,” Moses said before cheering. Kelly has been hailed as “one of the greatest songwriters of all time.” However, not everyone feels the same way about the incarcerated singer. After the episode was released, many social media users were unhappy with Moses' comments and took the time to condemn her. In particular, one X (formerly Twitter) user explained that Moses' comments were disturbing because Kelly allegedly made sexual music for children. “I sincerely want to say fuck her,” the user wrote. “How many times do we have to repeat, Robert Kelly is writing songs about having sex with teenagers and the reason it’s so visual is because it teaches kids how to have sex.” Well I did watch it with @TeedraMoses #rnbmoneypodcast I sincerely want to say fuck her. Um. I don't know how many times we have to repeat that Robert Kelly is writing songs about having sex with teenagers, and the reason it's so intuitive is because it teaches kids how to have sex. — Trixie F. pixie (@trixietheepixie) December 29, 2024 A few days later, Moses heard the comment and decided to respond with violence. In a brief post, Moses responded to the user, saying: “F**kuu ugly a**h, I won’t stop you because I have time in the new year to bless you with these words! You don't know me! But those of you who do know what I'm doing go and play with your support dogs, don't play with me! This is bullshit and I'll beat the crap out of you! !”Teedra Moses Shortly after tweeting, the user clarified, explaining that since Moses says “Oh I love Kylie and I don't care,” that's the same as saying “I love those niggas who rape and fuck kids and I don't care.” . But, of course, Moses had something to say and said she sympathizes with the victims but also believes Kelly “has amazing crazy art.” I'm not one to put words in their mouth. I love R .Kelly's music. Like so many other people with horrible personalities, he has crazy and amazing art. Start your bullshit, this asshole has no idea who he is. I feel for all the victims.” she added.
