Her latest statement comes after Beyoncé performed well at the NFL halftime show on Christmas Day. This 12-minute game took place during a football game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans. While many were in awe of Bay's performance, others criticized the icon and gave less favorable opinions. However, Tina’s mother didn’t think so. She responded to the backlash on Instagram on Friday, adding her own comments to social media users' statements in defense of Bey. “Whether you like Beyoncé's music or not, this is proof. And motivation, no matter how undeniable talent you have, people always, always, always have something negative to say,” the fan's post read Dow. In her caption, Knowles agreed with the user's post and explained her displeasure with people making negative comments about Bey and her performance. “My point is totally valid! It boggles my mind that you would use your precious Christmas to watch a show by someone you hate and whom you believe has no talent just so you can talk about it later,” she wrote. She continued, “Obviously you are so fascinated by them, addicted to them, secretly admire them and wish you could be them that you can’t help but watch, criticize and comment, saying silly and ridiculous things that make you look like a joke! So during the break go to another channel and watch a silly cartoon or Bozo the Clown or something that you can relate to and see yourself in. Said with love.
