A Chicago woman faces serious charges after a man who is fighting cancer and unable to speak is murdered in his apartment. On April 18, the Chicago Police Department confirmed to people and other media that Catherine Perry, 34, was charged with first-degree murder and committed arson in training on October 14, 2024 and October 14, 2024, stabbed 61-year-old Tony Tony Landers, 61-year-old. Police later confirmed that the arson charges involved “known people”. Perry is still in custody, but has no motive revealed.
