KFC launches new 'spicy' restaurant for chicken tenders lovers

KFC is taking their love for fried chicken to the next level! The fast-food chain opened its new restaurant “Saucy” in Orlando, Florida on Monday. While KFC is known for its fried chicken, nuggets and sandwiches, “Saucy” specializes in crispy chicken tenders. However, these are not just ordinary tenders. At Saucy, customers can customize their fried chicken with 11 signature sauces, a nod to the 11 legendary herbs and spices used in KFC chicken recipes. There is a wide variety of sauce options to satisfy any taste buds. Starting with Sweet and Spicy BBQ, Spicy Ranch, and Creole Honey Mustard, these flavors are perfect for traditionalists who prefer simplicity. For ranch lovers who appreciate creativity, chimichurri ranch, peri peri ranch, jalapeno pesto ranch and Smokey bacon ranch will be your best bets for a specific flavor profile. But if you like bold international flavors, try Thai sweet chili sauce, spicy mango chutney, and sweet teriyaki sauce. Plus, these tenders are available with delicious sides, including Grilled Hawaiian Wraps, Crinkle Fries and KFC Fries' signature coleslaw. On top of that, there are chicken tender-focused sandwiches on the menu, like the Original Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Spicy Cheese Crispy Sandwich. Customers can also enjoy desserts such as chocolate mousse cake and lime cake. Still, in addition to its novel menu, Saucy reportedly aims to be a community hub, offering live entertainment and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Although KFC hasn't revealed any specific details about locations, the fast-food giant plans to launch more Saucy restaurants across the U.S. in the future.
