When their plane caught fire at Denver International Airport, passengers on American Airlines had a horrible moment. The Boeing 737-800, operating on flight 1006, arrived in Dallas-Fort Worth, when it had to land urgently due to engine vibration, which was due to engine vibration. This landed around 5:15 pm, but things brought a wild turn. As the plane taxied to the gate, one of the engines exploded. With the smoke filling the air, all 172 passengers and six crew members had to evacuate quickly. An emergency slide was deployed, and some even stood on the wings of the plane when firefighters rushed in. American Airlines said the fire was caused by a “mechanical problem” and is now working with the FAA to investigate what went wrong. This is not the first emergency landing for Denver International, but boarding a plane at the gate is a rare and terrible sight. Video of the incident spread quickly online, showing the chaotic evacuation. The FAA and NTSB are now investigating to ensure this doesn't happen again. https://t.co/gwlirsyile pic.twitter.com/aosu1ib24h- CBS News (@cbsnews) March 14, 2025, for example: Like to load… Discover more from Baller AlertSubcribe for the latest posts.
