Claussen happened to introduce a new limited edition product on St. Patrick's Day, just salt water, an 8-ounce bottle of pickle salt water designed for cocktail mix and post-training recovery. Starting March 14, the version is designed to add a strong drink to their drinks or seek potential nighttime drinking methods to add a strong flavor to consumers. The product will be purchased through Gopuff in specific cities (New York, Chicago and Boston). Each six pack consists of three bottles for cocktails and three for recovery purposes. Limited numbers will also be available nationwide on Claussenjustthebrine.com. Demand has increased by nearly 30% over the past year due to growing interest in kimchi-flavored blenders. Claussen recently expanded its products to include other kimchi-style products such as sparkling wine and cupcakes.
