Nina Thomas, the estranged wife of former NFL player Earl Thomas, has been arrested for allegedly stealing millions of dollars from him. The Seahawks defensive back claims Nina defrauded him of nearly $3 million in money and property, TMZ reports. Court documents show Nina began draining his account shortly after filing for divorce in 2020. With the help of co-conspirators, she allegedly transferred assets into her name. In her shocking move, she reportedly spent an estimated $2.7 million, in part on breast augmentation surgery and an Hermès Birkin bag. Nina was arrested earlier this week and faces charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, money laundering and aggravated identity theft. It's just the latest twist in an already tumultuous relationship. Nina filed for divorce back in November 2020 after she allegedly found Earl in bed with two women and his brother and pointed a gun at Earl. Then, in 2021, she obtained a restraining order after Earl allegedly assaulted her while drunk. In 2023, Nina's new boyfriend, Kevin J. Thompson, was arrested for stealing Earl's identity in a $1.9 million scam. Thompson was accused of cashing Earle's NFL checks, draining his bank account and even transferring the title to his car. Earle, who played nine seasons with the Seahawks and one with the Ravens, had his career end abruptly when Baltimore terminated his contract in 2020 for “individual conduct that adversely affected the team.” Like this: Like Loading… Discover more from Baller AlertSubscribe to get the latest posts delivered to your email.
