Singer and rising star Alantra sits down with Baller Alert Show to share her inspiring transformation story. From growing up in a small Georgia town to living overseas, working in the nightlife industry and now shining in music, Alantra’s journey proves hustle and bustle, reinventing and self-confidence. From a small town in Georgia to a global mindset, although many people think she is from Atlanta, Alantra is actually a small town from Wrens, Georgia, which is small, she joked: “If You wink, you might miss it.” She spent time in England, Germany and Japan when she was raised in a military family, which gave her a cultural perspective and a love for a variety of foods. Dance, bartending, and Alantra's transition is now totally focused on music, her journey to this point is by no means ordinary. Before entering the booth, she worked as a dancer and bartender in the nightlife industry, eventually managing a high-end restaurant. She explained that she started dancing initially for financial reasons but soon discovered her needs. “I didn’t expect to be the 'that girl' of the club,” she admitted, sharing how customers started to see her specifically. But the real reason she entered the industry was more personal. “Honestly, I did it.” After discovering the child's father interacted with the dancer, she thought, “Do you like strippers? I'll be a stripper.” Despite the quick money, Alantra knows she wants more. Transitioning to bartending, she learned the ins and outs of the restaurant business, which eventually led to management positions. “I've been growing,” she said. “You can't be the one you were like five years ago.” Breaking into Musicalantra's music career started in unexpected ways – heartbreaking. “I was breaking up and covering the Tink song,” she recalled. A Virginia producer saw it and encouraged her to get into the studio. After two years of hesitation, she finally made a leap. The moment she walked into the studio, she knew she had found the phone. “It feels healing just like I should have been there.” Now, she is totally committed to her music, proving to the world that she is not just her past. With her birthday approaching Valentine's Day, Alantra hints that she might give new music to fans as a gift. “Instead of telling me a happy birthday, but streaming my song!” she teased.
