Years after the infamous Oscar slap incident, Will Smith still has feelings for Chris Rock. InTouch Weekly's source said that despite Will's public comeback, he will “never forgive” Chris Rock for the slap and considers it a life-changing event. Still holding a grudge, he blamed Chris' “smug attitude” for making the situation worse. Many critics agreed with Will, saying Chris failed to take responsibility for the consequences and that his refusal to talk about or accept Will's apology was karmic. Chris, on the other hand, didn't really grow from the incident. Reports say he still carries the emotional scars of that night dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Both may have been healed in some way, but neither seemed to have fully recovered. As for reconciliation? Well, the chances are slim.
