Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis found love and tied the knot on Season 7 of Netflix's hit reality show Love Is Blind , just over a year after they tied the knot Officially announced the breakup. Making the decision, he said: “After much consideration, I want to share that Taylor and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage. While I hope our relationship will be one of mutual understanding and transparency, It was clear that our paths no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.” Ashley emphasized the difficulty of the choice but noted that it was important to her own personal growth and peace. She added: “This was not a decision I made lightly, but I knew it was necessary. As this chapter comes to an end, I will always respect the time and love we shared. During this very personal time, I ask that you please respect my privacy as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.” Ashley and Taylor’s love story begins in October 2023 when Season 7 of the podcast airs. The two hit it off immediately, and their connection was one of the highlights of the season. However, their relationship faced a major challenge when Taylor revealed during filming that he was a sperm donor and had three biological children. While he insisted he had no relationship with the children or even knew what they looked like, his revelations caused tension between the couple. Although Ashley was initially shocked, she chose to move on and the two got engaged before tying the knot on the season finale. However, their relationship took a hit when allegations surfaced online during the show's run. Photos of Taylor celebrating Christmas morning with his biological children in matching pajamas began circulating, contradicting his claims of limited involvement. Additionally, allegations that Taylor owed child support and abandoned her children to be on the show added fuel to the fire. During the Season 7 reunion, Taylor addressed some of the accusations and explained his complicated relationship with his children and their mother. He admitted stepping in as a sperm donor to help a friend and her wife start a family, but later became involved in the children's lives when his friend's wife left the family. Taylor admitted that he lied about not knowing the children's appearance to protect their privacy, but clarified that Ashley was aware of the situation from the beginning. “There are pictures of me around,” Taylor admitted at the party. “I play a character who becomes very unstable for a friend. There's no rulebook for this…but I do want people to know that Ashley knows all about this. This is news to the world and it's never been news to us. None of it is news.” Ashley, for her part, supported Taylor during the reunion and dismissed suggestions that she was caught off guard by the revelations. “For people to suggest that 'she was blindsided' and 'she didn't know' is an insult to my intelligence,” she said. “There are things he's willing to share and there's things he's not willing to share.” However, after the reunion aired, Taylor found herself on the receiving end of even more criticism when she appeared on the “Dear Future Wife” podcast in November. In interviews, Taylor discussed his strained relationship with his children's mother, denying that he was an absentee father because he never intended to take an active role. “I want them to have their own families and leave me alone,” Taylor said, describing himself as a “glorious nanny who needs to get money from (the child's mother).” Although the couple initially seemed to get through it together, It seems that for Love Is Blind fans, the breakup is yet another reminder of how difficult it is to navigate relationships under the microscope of reality TV. When Ashley and Taylor close this chapter, they will join a growing list of couples on the show who have ultimately gone their separate ways. All seven seasons of Love Is Blind are now streaming on Netflix, with Season 8 premiering on February 14, 2025.
